Hi, Everybody!

10 points to whoever gets that really obscure reference with no context haha.

So this blog is going to be kind of business, kind of personal. I'm not going to spill my personal secrets on here (I don't think I would do that on a personal blog anyway), but there's only so many things I can write about that I wouldn't just put on my facebook page, so this is going to be also about me. Mostly my life related to my business, but probably other stuff too.

Quick recap for those who don't know me:
I'm a full time college student.
I also work while I'm at college, and usually work two jobs while I'm home on break.
I recently had an extensive corrective foot surgery that's put me on crutches for the last couple months.
This summer, I'll be having the same surgery on the other foot. So, depending on how much work I get at one of my summer jobs, I may be spending a lot of time doing craft stuff.
I have a lot of family and friends in the military, and met a lot of military SO's from my ex, so I really enjoy making military inspired stuff.
I love pretty much any type of crafting, especially sewing, knitting, crocheting, jewelry making and scrapbooking.
I also love photography, a lot.
When I'm finished writing this post, I'm going to go buy my very first sewing machine of my own in hopes that it'll be home when I get home from school for the summer in a few weeks.
I'm a Creative Writing major and I've always wanted to be an author. I want to be a rich and famous author, under a pen name, so I can donate most of my money to charities because I don't need and don't want a large house.
I added Psychology as a minor last fall because I've thought it was interesting ever since high school. I'm constantly over analyzing what I do, say and think, and what other people do and say to try and figure out why they do it.
I love reading too, but I haven't been able to read much in a long time. In middle school I think I read more than anyone in my class, and my book list only ever had like half the books I read because I would read them so fast, I'd forget to write them down and then forget the titles. Last summer, I decided I wanted to get rid of the Harlequin mystery romances I got at a yard sale (there were like 30 and I got them all because my favorite books are mysteries and romances, so I figured they'd be perfect), but I can't get rid of books I haven't read, so I brought one everywhere, read every lunch break, before going to bed all the time. So over my shortened summer, after my overseas photography class, between two jobs and spending time with family and friends, I went through I think nearly 20 250 page books. And I still have a bunch left for this summer...

So I guess that wasn't exactly a quick recap, but oh well haha. I'm pretty open, so if you'd like to ask a question, feel free :) I think it's important for small businesses to have relationships with their customers so I try to be as visible as I can :)
