Noone bit on the Easter Egg raffle-type game, so we'll save that for another time. Maybe a Christmas in July thing?

So I just wanted to share with you all my new sewing machine because I am SO excited for it.
I ordered the Brother CS6000i and it looks like this:

I have a long list of projects already. Whenever Jo-Ann's has pattern sales, like McCall's $.99 each! I always stock up :) I get any patterns I think I might ever use - remind me to show you, see if there's anything you'd like! I just bought a pattern for those pillow chair things? The ones with the back and arms, and it's got some pockets on the side so you can keep stuff like a book and reading glasses or a notebook and pencils in it. And little kids' plush chairs, which would probably be pretty expensive for the time, but you could have them customized with whatever patterned fabric.

But anyway the first thing I'm going to be sewing on it is a bag for a friend from a pattern of a bag that a friend made me! I posted it on the page's facebook wall a little after Christmas, it's this one -

In case you forgot, I'm obsessed with Cars haha. Mater is my favorite, I love Larry the Cable Guy haha. And I just love Mater's character. But anyway, the bag has four outside pockets, a cell phone pocket, a tiny velcro pocket that would be great for chapstick or a pacifier. Inside also has four pockets. But, what I want to do is rework it. And I want to make it so you can easily pick how you want your bag designed! I'm going to set it up on the website with listings for each thing you want to add to your cart - options like if you want outside pockets, if you want inside pockets, what kind, etc. I also want to design a laptop pocket on the inside and purse feet, padded straps, stuff like that. I'm really excited to rework this pattern and add my spin to it!
