How I Run My
Business:
Recently graduated, I work full time at a day job, and orders are done in my free time. Many small businesses have order queues and wait lists, which in time I may have to work out a process for. Right now, I work on what I have time for. Since I do many different types of crafts, it's easiest for me to group them together. If my orders come in as: 1 necklace, 1 pair of earrings, 1 knit hat, 1 pair of sewn pillow cases, 2 bracelets… I'm going to group the jewelry together. It takes time to set up my materials, especially if I'm doing many different types of jewelry items or sewing. Grouping items together saves my time and gets orders done faster.

Payment:
As a general rule, I
wait for payment to start an item. If it's a pre-made item, I wait for payment
to ship it. Mostly I take payment through Paypal - and you don't need a Paypal
account to pay an invoice or through my website. Occasionally people mail me
checks as well, and if that works best for you please let me know - though I
will not start/ship your item(s) until I have deposited the check and it has
cleared. In person, I can also be paid cash or with my card reader. If I make a
custom listing for you on the website, please pay within 48 hours. If you
can't, please let me know.
Paying with
Storenvy:
You don't need
PayPal or a Storenvy account. Add item to cart. Put notes as requested in
"Notes to kreative studios." Put in shipping info, etc. Click
"PAY NOW WITH PAYPAL." You do NOT have to have Paypal. That button
brings you to PayPal. From there, you have the option to log into your PayPal
account, or underneath that there's a dropdown to put in card info. Select your
option and complete the process.
Custom
Orders:
I LOVE making custom orders and I love customizing items. This is what helps separate my items from any old thing you can pick up in the store. Just because you don't see an item, doesn't mean I can't make it, so let me know your idea!

How long will it
take to receive my order? (Turn Around Time-TAT):
How long it takes me
to make and ship my items depends on the type of item and my current schedule.
Jewelry and knit/crocheted goods is generally 2-3 weeks until it ships. Sewing
items are generally 3-4 weeks. Ready-to-Ship items should go out within a week
of payment. Orders including RTS and Custom items will ship when the last item
is finished, unless specified otherwise (buyer pays both shipping if requesting
separate shipping). My TAT is long mostly because of my schedule, not amount of
orders. I often only have time to work on orders on the weekend, but if you
need something right away PLEASE let me know before paying.
Once shipped, most
domestic orders take 2-5 business days to arrive. International shipping
delivery times may vary between 2-12 weeks.
Shipping:
I use PayPal to print shipping labels - which means if you pay an invoice or pay through my website, the address Paypal has is the address I am going to use. Currently, I ship as I have orders, so I should be able to ship soon after payment/completing the item. If you need your item by a certain date, be sure to let me know! Also, you may notice that your item has come in a re-used envelope. I admit that I don't do as much recycling as I should, but reusing good condition envelopes is something I can do easily, and I urge you to do it as well in your business and personal mailing! *Note: I am NOT responsible for incorrect addresses - it is your job to make sure it goes to the right place, since I do not know where you live :) Once it leaves my hands, it is no longer my responsibility. That doesn't mean I won't try to help you resolve a situation if your package gets lost, but I do not NEED to replace it or refund it. I will handle these situations on a case-by-case basis, and your best chance to get what you want is to be pleasant and nice to me, and not blame me for something that isn't my fault :)

Returns:
Because of the
custom nature of my item, all sales are final - no returns. If you have a
problem with your item, please come directly to me via email
(kristen.kreative.studios@gmail.com) to address it. If it is broken, most
likely I can fix it. If it's not what you asked for, most likely I can change
it. If it's not what you wanted buy of no fault of mine, I may be able to give
you store credit. These situations will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
If Something Breaks:
If your item breaks,
please let me know! I'm probably going to handle these on a case by case basis.
If it was a problem with the construction, then I will fix it for free - and I
encourage people to let me know of these problems! You pay shipping to me and I
pay shipping to you. If possible, I'll change the design of the item to address
the problem, I've done it before. If it was damage inflicted by the buyer and
not a construction issue, if I can fix it I will, but may be subject to charge,
depending on difficulty and supplies needed.
Promotions:
Generally, discounts will not be combinable. If they are, I'll say so. If I didn't say so, assume they're not. It gets too messy of whether or not I do them separately or combine discounts before applying. So, if you have a 15% off discount and I'm running a 20% off sale, pick one or the other - I suggest using my sale, and saving your discount.

Gift Certificates
are not applicable towards shipping charges. Almost always, gift certificates
given by me are valid for 6 months.
